Home of the side window deflector for the ND generation MX5 and Fiat 124. Custom designed and tested to reduce wind buffeting when driving with the top down and wind noise when driving with the top up.
This is not a hobby grade 3D printed part. These are injection molded PMMA acrylic, a naturally UV resistant material. The acrylic has additives to increase the UV resistance and is clear coated with a 2-part epoxy paint for increased durability and UV resistance. The final color matches the matte dark gray appearance of the side mirror trim for a subtle OEM look. The wind deflectors are held in place with 3M VHB tape designed for automotive applications.
